Sotho Heritage Dress

Thebe Magugu's Sotho Heritage dress is a long crepe dress featuring a plunging neckline, balloon sleeves and a neck tie. The Basotho people live in various parts of South Africa, Zambia and Namibia, their existence tracing back to the 8th century. The Basotho people believe in the utmost respect for ancestral spirits to "avoid bad luck, sickness or misfortune".
