Nomathemba Large Basket 2

Noni Designs' Nomathemba Basket is a large handmade basket made from reeds called Ingculu and decorated with beads. Historically in African culture was used for sifting maize but nowadays they are used for decorations such as wall hangings, fruit basket and bread baskets. The founder, Nomathemba Mditshwa got the tradition of basket making from her mother and has kept the tradition alive with her unique baskets.
